India's Three-Wheeler Market Sees 48.6% EV Share in July
In July 2026, India sold 86,580 three-wheelers, almost half of them were electric.
Bajaj Auto sold the most overall, while Mahindra Last Mile Mobility led in electric sales.
Electric three-wheelers are cheaper to run and are becoming more popular because of better charging stations and lower costs.

Total three-wheeler registrations rose 26.4% to 86,580 units in July 2026.
Electric registrations increased 84.3% to 42,065 units, making up 48.6% of all sales.
Bajaj Auto remained the overall market leader with 41,998 registrations.
Mahindra Last Mile Mobility led electric sales with 12,848 units, narrowly ahead of Bajaj Auto.
Experts predict the market will reach about 90,000 units in July, with EV penetration rising to over 50% for passenger models.
