Uddhava Gita Teaches Dispassion, Peace, and Inner Consciousness

Krishna gave Uddhava spiritual advice before leaving his body.

This advice is known as the Uddhava Gita.

It teaches that dispassion does not mean being gloomy or careless.

Instead, it means being peaceful while not clinging tightly to things and desires.

A person can still be energetic, clean, happy, and passionate.

Letting go of excessive attachment helps the mind become calm.

Accepting that some things are imperfect can also reduce anger.

The article says that our deepest nature is consciousness, which remains beyond changing thoughts and emotions.

Meditation can help us notice this inner awareness.
