Andhra Pradesh to Build New Archaeological Museums
The state of Andhra Pradesh is building new museums to protect and show off its historical treasures.
Two new museums will be in Machhiliapatnam and Tirupati.
Also, four existing museums in Kakinada, Rajamahendravaram, Mylavaram, and Kadapa will get new buildings.
These museums will have old things like stone sculptures, coins, and especially 5,000 old palm leaf manuscripts.
The manuscripts are being carefully treated and turned into digital copies so they can last a long time.
The aim is to share the history of Andhra Pradesh with everyone.
Andhra Pradesh is constructing two new district-level archaeological museums.
New museums will be located in Machhiliapatnam and Tirupati.
Four other museums will get new buildings: Kakinada, Rajamahendravaram, Mylavaram, and Kadapa.
