Andhra Pradesh Launches Safe Internet Programme for Children
A child-safety commission in Andhra Pradesh has started a programme called “Web Safe and Wise.”
ChildFund India is helping with the programme.
It teaches people about dangers children may face online.
These dangers include bullying, scams, blackmail and abuse.
The programme aims to make the internet safer for children across the State.
The groups will study how often children face online harassment.
They will use the study to find ways to respond to the problem.
They also released a brochure called “Safe Internet for Children.”
The Andhra Pradesh State Commission for Protection of Child Rights launched the “Web Safe and Wise” awareness programme with ChildFund India.
