UP Govt Appoints 826 Block Heads as Administrators
In Uttar Pradesh, India, the government has appointed 826 block heads as administrators after their term ended.
This is the first time that block heads, along with district panchayat chairpersons and village heads, have been appointed as administrators.

They will handle daily tasks but cannot make big decisions without the government's approval.
The government will soon provide more details about what these administrators can and cannot do.
