Tamil Nadu to Restore Historic Lake of Rajendra Chola
Imagine a very old lake built by a powerful king named Rajendra Chola a long, long time ago.
This lake helped farmers water their fields.
Now, the government is going to fix it up!
They want to make the lake big and full of water again, just like it used to be.
They also want to make it a pretty place for people to visit, and remember the king who built it.
The government hopes this will help the area grow and become a better place to live.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin announced the restoration of the 'Chola Gangam' lake, originally built by emperor Rajendra Chola.
