Supreme Court to hear Rahul Gandhi's plea on disproportionate assets

Supreme Court to hear Rahul Gandhi's plea on disproportionate assets

Rahul Gandhi is an important leader of the Congress party in India.

A man named S Vignesh Shishir says Gandhi may have more money and belongings than he should.

Shishir asked two big investigating agencies, the CBI and the ED, to check these claims.

A court in Lucknow told the CBI to explain what it had done so far.

But the court said the CBI's answer was not good enough.

Now the Supreme Court, the highest court in India, will talk about this case on Monday.

Gandhi has asked the Supreme Court to change the lower court's order.

The judges will listen to both sides before making a decision.

The court papers are being kept in a sealed cover so nobody can see them until the case is decided.
