NCP (SP) Uncertain on Ajit Pawar Alliance for Pune Civic Polls
Supriya Sule, a leader of the NCP (SP), said her party won't team up with Ajit Pawar's NCP for the Pune city elections until all their workers' concerns are addressed.
She met with Prashant Jagtap, the Pune city chief, who was worried about the alliance.
Sule assured him that their party's ideas and policies won't change.
Meanwhile, Jagtap resigned from the party because he didn't agree with the possible alliance.
The NCP (SP) will keep using their 'tutari' symbol in the elections.
The elections are on January 15, 2026.
Sule also talked about how the new VB-GRAM G program is replacing the old MGNREGA program, which she thinks is not good for the poor.

The NCP (SP) will continue to use the 'tutari' symbol for the elections, regardless of any alliance.
Elections for 29 civic corporations in Maharashtra, including Pune, are scheduled for January 15, 2026.
