Oscilloscope Acquires 'Natchez,' Documentary on Confederate Nostalgia

A new documentary called 'Natchez' is coming to theaters!

The film, which won an award at the Tribeca Festival, is about the town of Natchez, Mississippi, where some people enjoy the beautiful old houses, but some don't realize the history behind them.

A company called Oscilloscope Laboratories bought the movie, which is directed by Suzannah Herbert.

The movie shows a town at a cultural crossroads with a look at how some people celebrate the past, even though it includes slavery and violence.

The director, and the team at Oscilloscope, want everyone to see the film.
