Guest Faculty Recruitment Delay May Affect Govt PU Colleges
Imagine schools like high schools run by the government.
They need extra teachers, called guest faculty, to help teach.
Usually, the government sends out a notice to hire these teachers early so the schools can start on time.
However, this year, the notice hasn't been sent, which means the schools might start without enough teachers.
This could make it hard for students when they come back to school.
The government says they'll send out the notice soon.
Government PU colleges may start the academic year without guest faculty.
The PU department has not yet issued a circular for guest faculty recruitment.
Last year's circular was issued in early May, allowing timely recruitment.
DK district alone needs over 270 guest faculty members for 55 colleges.
The department will start with the deputation of permanent faculty.
