Mizoram PSC postpones recruitment exams amid student agitation

There is a government office in Mizoram that helps choose people for government jobs by holding exams.

A group of students is unhappy with how this office works.

The students stood outside the office with signs and did not let the workers go inside.

Because of this, the office could not do its normal work.

The office decided to delay the exams for now, with no new date set.

The exams that are delayed are for some government jobs called Group C posts.

The exam papers were already prepared but could not be handed out.

The protest started on Monday and continued into Tuesday.

The office says the delay happened because of the disruption at its premises.
