Hyderabad Endures Intense Thunderstorms and Heavy Rains
Imagine the sky got really angry and started throwing down a lot of rain and thunder on Hyderabad.
This happened on Sunday evening, and it was so much rain that the streets started to flood in many places.
This made it very hard for cars and people to move around, causing big traffic jams.
The rain happened in lots of different parts of the city.
Weather watchers think more rain might come, so they put out a special alert.
Even before it rained in the city, there were big storms in another nearby area called Nizamabad.
Hyderabad experienced intense thunderstorms and heavy rainfall on Sunday evening.
The downpour began around 7 pm, causing waterlogging and significant traffic delays in various city areas.
Several localities reported moderate to heavy rains, leading to flooded streets and slow-moving vehicles.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued an Orange Alert for Hyderabad, forecasting further rainfall and thunderstorms.
Severe thunderstorms were also reported earlier in Nizamabad, with storms expected to move towards other districts.
