SA-WI T20 Series Shortened Due to ICC World Cup
The cricket series between South Africa and the West Indies is being cut short.
Initially, they planned to play five T20 matches, but now it's only three.
This change is because the International Cricket Council needs to start getting ready for the 2026 T20 World Cup.
The last match will be a special 'Pink Day' to raise money for breast cancer.
South Africa also has fewer home games this season and will be playing in other countries.
They're also preparing for the Under-19 World Cup with additional matches against India.
The T20 series between South Africa and West Indies is reduced from 5 to 3 matches.
The change is due to the ICC's preparation period for the 2026 T20 World Cup.
The final match will be held on January 31 at Wanderers, Johannesburg.
The Wanderers match will be commemorated as the ‘Pink Day’ for breast cancer awareness.
South Africa will also play three Under-19 fifty-over games against India.
