Anantapur officials directed to boost industrial growth
The District Collector in Anantapur had meetings with officials to talk about how to help industries grow in the area and ensure that money set aside for Scheduled Castes (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes (STs) is used properly.
He told everyone to work together to make it easier for new businesses to start and to give them the help they need quickly.
He also approved some special benefits for companies, like lower electricity bills and tax breaks.
The officials were told to finish their work on time and to make sure that projects like solar and wind energy, and new roads and railways, are moving forward.
They also need to make sure that companies that have been given land start using it soon.
For SCs and STs, the Collector said that 17.08% of the money should be used for SCs and 5.53% for STs in all government programs.
He asked officials to make sure that these groups get all the help they are supposed to get.
Everyone in the meetings agreed to do their part to help the district grow industrially and support SCs and STs.
