AI Trend Turns Photos Into Detailed 1970s Indian Scenes
People are using AI to make their photos look as if they were taken in India during the 1970s.
They can upload an ordinary picture to Google Gemini and describe how they want it to look.
They might ask for a scene in an old shop or on a rooftop.
They can also describe the clothes, lighting and mood.
The AI may add details like faded colours and film grain.
Giving it more specific directions can help create a more particular result.
The trend is about recreating a moment from the past, not just adding a simple vintage filter.
Social media users are using AI tools to transform ordinary photos into 1970s-style scenes.
Google Gemini is one tool users can use for the trend.
Examples of settings include old department stores, optical shops and rooftops.
The images often use muted colours, film grain, faded textures and imperfect exposure.
Users can upload a photo and describe the era, setting, mood, lighting and photographic style.
