DLF sticks to ₹20,000 crore target despite weak Q1 results

DLF sticks to ₹20,000 crore target despite weak Q1 results

DLF is a big company in India that builds homes.

In the first three months of this financial year, it sold much less than it did a year before.

That happened because the company did not start selling any brand-new projects during that time.

DLF says this is just a timing issue, not a sign that people have stopped wanting homes.

So the company is sticking to its big goal of selling ₹20,000 crore worth of homes this year.

A special luxury project in Goa is almost ready, but a court case is delaying it.

That project could bring in around ₹2,000 crore, which is about ten percent of the yearly goal.

DLF is also starting something new: homes for older people in Gurugram.

Even though sales were slow, the company still made more profit than last year.
