UP Leaders Praise Pradhan's Education Contributions

Dharmendra Pradhan, the Union Education Minister, resigned on July 25, 2024, due to the NEET paper leak scandal.

Leaders from Uttar Pradesh, including Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, praised Pradhan for his contributions to education, particularly his role in implementing the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

They highlighted his focus on innovation, skill development, and aligning education with Indian traditions.

However, the opposition party, Cockroach Janta Party, protested at Jantar Mantar, demanding accountability for the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak and other examination irregularities.

Pradhan's resignation was seen by supporters as a demonstration of high ethical values, while protesters called for wider reforms in public examinations.
