Elderly Woman Swept Away in Flooded Stream

An elderly woman named Laxmibai tragically died after being swept away by a strong current in a flooded stream.

She was traveling in a bullock cart and asked the rider, Suresh, if she could join him as they both went to Babulgoan.

Heavy rains had caused the stream to swell, making it dangerous to cross.

The bullock cart and a bullock were also swept away.

The bullock cart rider managed to swim to safety.

Police officials visited the site of the incident.
