Emma Thompson Shares Trump Date Story From 1998

Emma Thompson shared a story about Donald Trump calling her for a date.

This happened in 1998, on the day her divorce was finalized, while she was filming a movie.

Trump called her trailer and asked her out to dinner.

She initially believed it was a joke.

Thompson jokingly said things might have been different if she had gone on the date, and she mused on the impact on American history.
