Israeli Strikes Kill 11 Palestinians Including 3 Children

On Saturday, Israeli airstrikes in Gaza City killed 11 Palestinians, including three children and their parents.

One strike hit a residential apartment in the Nasr neighborhood, killing a family of five and injuring several others.

Another strike in the Zeitoun neighborhood killed three more people.

Later, a woman was killed, and several others were injured, including her daughter, when Israeli artillery shelling struck a tent sheltering displaced people.

Israel says it was targeting Hamas terrorists.

Since a ceasefire agreement in October, there have been near-daily attacks, with at least 1,144 Palestinians and five Israeli soldiers killed.

The war started after a Hamas attack on October 7, 2023, which killed 1,200 people in Israel and took 251 hostages.

Israel's retaliatory offensive has resulted in 73,250 Palestinian deaths, according to Gaza's Health Ministry.
