Air India Expands Fleet with 50-60 New Planes
Air India is getting a lot of new planes, about 50 to 60, in the next year and a half.
They are also making big changes to their airline to make it better.
This includes fixing up their planes and training their staff.
Even though there have been some problems like high oil prices and other issues, they are still on track with their plans.
They are also working on making the flying experience better for their customers.
It's like giving an old car a complete makeover to make it faster, safer, and more comfortable.
Air India Group expects to receive 50-60 new aircraft in the next 18 months.
The airline's five-year transformation plan includes fleet modernization and investments in maintenance.
Deliveries of new aircraft, including wide-body and narrow-body planes, will accelerate from late this year into next year.
Air India Express aims to complete fleet retrofitting by March next year, while Air India's wide-body aircraft retrofits are scheduled over the next two to three years.
The group is investing in improving customer experience, staff training, and operational systems.
