Delhi Schools: Nearly 6,000 Students Selected Under EWS, DG, CWSN
Almost 6,000 kids in Delhi have been chosen to start school in private schools.
These children come from families who need extra help, like those with lower incomes or special needs.
The schools picked the students randomly using a computer program.
Kids had to meet certain rules, like being the right age and, for some families, having a low income.
If you're from a poor family or have a disability, you may be eligible to apply for these programs.
The schools followed special rules from the government when choosing the students.
Nearly 6,000 students have been selected for entry-level classes in Delhi private schools under EWS, DG, and CWSN categories.
The selections were made through a computerized draw of lots.
2,919 children were selected for nursery/pre-school, 733 for KG/pre-primary, and 2,341 for Class 1.
