Parliament Adjourned Amid Opposition Protests Over Bihar and Other Issues
Imagine the people in charge of making laws in India were having a meeting (Parliament).
Some people were upset about certain things, like how the election rules are being changed in Bihar and something called Operation Sindoor.
They wanted to talk about these things, but the people in charge didn't want to.
So, the upset people started making a lot of noise and holding up signs.
Because of the noise, the meeting had to stop and was moved to later in the day.
This happened in both the big meeting hall (Lok Sabha) and the smaller one (Rajya Sabha).
The people in charge said they would take action if the noise continued.
Both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha proceedings were adjourned until noon due to opposition protests.
Opposition parties protested, demanding discussions on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar and Operation Sindoor.
The Speaker warned MPs against 'street-like behaviour' and threatened decisive action.
Rajya Sabha also saw protests over rejected adjournment notices on various issues, including the Bihar voter roll revision.
The adjournments followed similar disruptions on the previous two days of the Monsoon session.
