Trump Claims 'Total Control' Over Strait of Hormuz, Blasts Iran

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, said that America controls a very important waterway called the Strait of Hormuz.

Ships carrying oil pass through this waterway, so controlling it is a big deal.

He called the American naval blockade there a 'wall of steel.'

He also said mean things about Iran, like that it has no navy or air force and no money.

He even claimed Iran has very high inflation, which means things there cost much more than before.

But leaders from America and Iran are talking to each other behind the scenes.

They are trying to ease the crisis and let ships travel normally again.

Iran wants America to pay compensation for damage from the fighting and from sanctions.

The American president says no to that idea.

So the two countries still disagree, even while they are talking.
