HYDRAA Commissioner Inspects Gachibowli Desilting Works

The HYDRAA Commissioner, A.V. Ranganath, visited Gachibowli to check on the desilting and restoration works in stormwater drains leading to Khajaguda lake.

He found that one vent of a box drain was blocked with silt and directed officials to speed up the desilting process.

Officials mentioned that previous measures had prevented waterlogging during recent rains.

Ranganath also inspected an underpass where rainwater had collected due to failed automatic water pumps and instructed the repair of these pumps.

He also ordered the readiness of 25 horsepower pumps to quickly remove rainwater if needed.
