Man Detained for Posing as MLA, Getting Free Hotel Stay in UP
Two men from Delhi were caught pretending to be important people to get free stuff.
One of them told a hotel owner he was a politician, like an MLA, which means he's a leader in the government.
He stayed in the hotel for almost three weeks without paying any money.
When the hotel owner asked for the payment, the man tried to scare him by acting like he had a lot of power.
The owner called the police, who came and found out the man wasn't really a politician.
They also found a car with a special sign that made it look like he was important.
The police took both men away to ask them more questions about what they did.
Two Delhi residents, Vinod and Manoj, were detained in Uttar Pradesh.
Vinod allegedly posed as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) to stay in a hotel.
The duo stayed at the hotel for 18 days without paying room charges.
A car with 'MP' written on it and fitted with a hooter was recovered from the accused.
The police took the men into custody for interrogation after discovering the false claim.
