Smriti Mandhana’s transformation brings more hundreds and faster scoring

Smriti Mandhana is a famous Indian cricket batter.

She recently scored 124 runs from only 64 balls against Hong Kong.

This was her 18th international hundred, the most by a woman in international cricket.

She also became the highest run-scorer in women’s international cricket.

Earlier in her career, Mandhana often scored fifties but did not turn them into hundreds.

In 2024 and 2025, she began converting many more fifties into hundreds.

Her scoring also became faster, especially in T20 cricket.

Mandhana said she admired Meg Lanning and Mithali Raj while growing up.

She called her latest achievements only a start.
