Avengers: Endgame Reclaims Box Office Record From Avatar

Avengers: Endgame and Avatar are competing for the movie that has earned the most money worldwide.

Endgame has now made $2.925 billion.

Avatar has made $2.923 billion, so Endgame is just ahead.

A recent return to theaters added to Endgame's earnings.

Avatar held the record for nearly a decade after it came out in 2009.

Endgame passed it in 2019, but Avatar moved ahead again after a 2021 re-release.

Now the films have switched places once more.

Disney brought Endgame back to theaters before the planned December release of Avengers: Doomsday.
