UP Man Attempts to Kill Married Ex-Girlfriend, Arrested

In Gorakhpur, a man named Arun tried to kill his ex-girlfriend, who is married.

He attacked her at her home late Thursday.

When police tried to stop him the next morning, he shot at them, and they shot back, injuring and arresting him.

The woman is seriously hurt and in the hospital.

They used to be together, but she got married a year ago, and he also remarried.

Their relationship caused problems, and his wife left him.

The attack seems to be due to their past relationship.
