China's Sea Legend launches first regular Arctic shipping route service

Have you ever waited a long time for a package to arrive?

Ships that carry things like toys and clothes between China and Europe have a very long journey.

Now, a company from China called Sea Legend is trying a new and faster path.

Instead of going through warm, busy waters, their ships will sail near the Arctic, where it is very cold.

In the summer, the ice melts enough for ships to pass through.

This new trip goes from a city in China called Ningbo to a city in England called Felixstowe.

It takes about 20 days, which is about half the time of the usual route.

The leaders of Russia and China really like this idea because it helps trade between countries.

But some people worry that big ships could hurt Arctic animals and nature, so other big shipping companies promised not to use this route.

Russia also hopes the country of India will join in, and India says they are talking about it.
