Man Hospitalized After Superglue Attempt To Stop Urinary Leakage

A man had trouble controlling when urine came out of his body.

He tried to stop the leaking by putting superglue into the tube used for urination.

The glue first seemed to work, but then it hardened inside him.

This created a large blockage, so he could not urinate.

He had severe pain in his lower stomach for about a week.

Doctors had to operate to remove the hardened glue.

The man was not reported to have a psychiatric disorder.

Doctors say people with bladder problems should seek help from a doctor instead of trying dangerous home treatments.
