NISAR Launch: NASA-ISRO Mission Set for July 30th
NASA and ISRO are launching a special satellite called NISAR.
It will use radar to take detailed pictures of Earth, helping scientists study changes to the planet like ice, land use, and oceans.
The satellite will map the entire Earth every 12 days.
It's a big project with ISRO building some parts and NASA building others.
Before the satellite starts working, there will be a test phase of 90 days.
This mission aims to help scientists better understand our planet.
NISAR, a joint NASA-ISRO mission, is set to launch on July 30.
The launch will take place from Sriharikota, India.
The satellite weighs 2,392 kilograms and uses L-band and S-band radar systems.
NISAR will observe land and ice deformation, ecosystem changes, and oceanic patterns.
The satellite will undergo a 90-day commissioning phase post-launch.
