RBL Bank Reports Lower Q3 Profit
RBL Bank, a private bank in India, recently announced its earnings for the last three months of 2025.
The bank made less money than people expected, but it was still better than the same time last year.
The bank made ₹21.4 crore, which is less than the ₹29.4 crore that analysts thought it would make.
However, the bank made more money from loans and had fewer bad loans.
The bank is also focusing on safer loans like mortgages and auto loans.
Recently, a big bank from Dubai called Emirates NBD bought a large part of RBL Bank.
The bank's boss said they will focus on lending to small businesses and helping Indians living abroad.
RBL Bank reported a net profit of ₹21.4 crore for Q3 2025, lower than the expected ₹29.4 crore.
Net profit decreased from ₹32.6 crore in Q3 2024 due to reduced provisions for bad loans.
Net interest income rose 5% to ₹165.7 crore, driven by a 14% growth in loans.
Deposit base grew by 12% during the quarter.
Gross non-performing asset ratio improved to 1.88% from 2.32% in the previous quarter.
