NDA MPs protest against Opposition logjam, target Rahul Gandhi

Some leaders from a big group of political parties in India went on a protest walk near Parliament.

They were upset because the other side, called the Opposition, was stopping Parliament from doing its work.

The leaders held up signs saying a leader named Rahul Gandhi was hiding from a discussion about student protests.

A few days earlier, police in a state called Jharkhand used sticks and water cannons on students who were protesting about their exams.

The ruling leaders said Rahul Gandhi stayed quiet about that and did not want to talk about it.

But Rahul Gandhi said he wanted answers about who told the police to do that.

His sister, another leader named Priyanka Gandhi, said he had already visited the protesting students.

The government said its Home Minister, Amit Shah, was ready to talk about the issue in Parliament.

So both sides kept blaming each other for not letting Parliament work.

In the end, the meeting was paused until later that day.
