Paramount Promotes Ricardo Cortes to International Executive
Ricardo Cortes, who has worked at Paramount for 18 years, has been promoted to a new, important job.
He will now be in charge of how Paramount movies are shown in theaters around the world, and he will continue to lead the company's work in Latin America.
Before this, he was in charge of Latin America distribution and marketing, and was also the managing director for Mexico.
He started his career at United International Pictures.
His boss says he has been very important to the company's success.
Ricardo Cortes is promoted to EVP, International Theatrical Distribution and Head of Latin America.
The promotion was announced by Mark Viane in an internal email.
Cortes will oversee Paramount’s international theatrical distribution.
Cortes previously served as SVP, Latin America Distribution & Marketing.
Cortes joined Paramount in 2007 and previously worked at United International Pictures.
