AVIXA, SNDT University Open Audiovisual Career Paths for Women
AVIXA and SNDT Women’s University are working together to help women learn about audiovisual careers.
Audiovisual, or AV, includes technologies and experiences involving sound, images and digital systems.
The groups will create training, workshops and other learning activities.
Students may also meet experts, visit companies and gain practical experience.
They will learn about jobs beyond simply operating technology.
These jobs can include designing immersive experiences, managing AV systems and building digital experiences.
The partnership also hopes to connect students with companies for placements.
It will encourage research and entrepreneurship while helping more women enter the growing AV industry.
AVIXA and SNDT Women’s University signed an agreement to expand audiovisual training and career opportunities for women in India.
The partnership will include skills training, workshops, expert interactions, industrial visits, mentorship and hands-on learning.
The organisations plan to develop a curriculum aligned with changing audiovisual industry requirements.
Students will be introduced to careers in system integration, manufacturing, immersive experiences, hybrid collaboration and digital experiences.
The initiative aims to support entrepreneurship, industry placements and a job-ready talent pipeline as India’s AV market grows.
