BDA to Acquire 100 Acres for Bengaluru Business Corridor
The Bengaluru Development Authority (BDA) is acquiring 100 acres of land for a big project called the Bengaluru Business Corridor.
They are offering different ways to pay the landowners, like giving them money, plots for houses, or plots for shops.
The most they will pay is Rs 15.60 crore for one acre in some places.
Farmers who agree to give up their land will get this money or other benefits.
The BDA has started the process and will finish it quickly.
If farmers don't agree, the BDA will take the land but pay less money.
The total land needed for the project is 1,810 acres, and the BDA is working to get it fast.
BDA is acquiring 100 acres of land for the Bengaluru Business Corridor (BBC–PRR-1) project.
Landowners can choose from five compensation options: cash, residential plots, commercial plots, TDR, or FAR.
Maximum compensation offered is Rs 15.60 crore per acre in select villages.
Landowners have 15 days to submit consent letters; otherwise, land will be acquired under the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, with lower compensation.
The BDA has already issued final notices and is expediting the land acquisition process starting January 1.
