Houthis claim drone strike on Saudi Aramco refinery in Jazan
There are rebels in Yemen called the Houthis.
They said they used a drone to attack a big oil factory in Saudi Arabia called the Saudi Aramco refinery.
The Houthis said the drone hit the factory very accurately.
They said they attacked because Saudi Arabia sent drones into parts of Yemen called Saada and Hajjah.
A fire started at the factory very early in the morning.
Firefighters from the oil company put the fire out.
Nobody was hurt.
The factory is in a town called Jazan, near the border between Saudi Arabia and Yemen.
The two countries have been having more disagreements lately, and the Houthis recently stopped ships linked to Saudi Arabia from using the Red Sea.
Yemen's Iran-backed Houthi rebels claimed a precise drone strike on the Saudi Aramco refinery in Jazan, Saudi Arabia.
Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree said the attack was retaliation for Saudi drone incursions into the airspace of Yemen's Saada and Hajjah governorates.
Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Energy confirmed a fire broke out at dawn at the refinery, which Aramco's industrial security firefighting teams extinguished.
No injuries were reported; Saudi authorities did not specify the fire's cause, and the Houthis provided no evidence of the attack.
The claim comes amid escalating tensions, including a Houthi maritime ban on Saudi-linked shipping in the Red Sea announced on July 20.
