Brij Bhushan Singh Congratulates Aradhana Misra on UP Congress Appointment
The Congress party chose Aradhana Misra to lead its team in Uttar Pradesh.
She is also known as Mona Misra.
She replaced Ajay Rai, who had led the state party since August 2023.
The party also gave new roles to Imran Masood, Chaudhary Virendra Singh, Devinder Nishad, and Alok Prasad.
These changes came before next year's Assembly elections.
Former MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh congratulated Misra on Saturday.
He said that changing who holds a party job is part of how an organisation works.
He also said the change did not necessarily mean Rai had done a poor job.
