Manipur’s Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh visited communities affected by violence.

He said people from different communities have suffered and want to return to their homes.

He asked everyone to stop fighting and work together for peace.

He said people should try to forgive one another and rebuild trust.

The Chief Minister also inspected a water project in Kangpokpi district.

Officials said drinking water could be restored after the work is finished within a month.
