MCM Launches Helplines to Address Gurgaon's Monsoon Woes
Imagine it's raining a lot, and sometimes the roads get flooded.
The city of Gurgaon wants to help people when this happens.
They've set up special phone numbers, like a hotline, that people can call anytime, day or night, if they have a problem, like water on the roads or if a tree falls down.
The city has also created a special place, like a command center, to keep track of all the problems.
The city officials will be in charge of making sure everything is working correctly and to make sure people do not have any inconveniences.
Officials have also checked the places that might flood to make sure that doesn't happen.
MCM launched 24/7 helpline numbers to address monsoon-related issues.
Helpline numbers are 9773797486 and 0124-2012232.
A control room will manage complaints about waterlogging and faulty streetlights.
Deputy Municipal Commissioner Vinod Nehra will oversee waterlogging matters.
