China Postpones Ambitious Chang’e-7 Lunar Mission Launch Plans

China planned to send a spacecraft called Chang’e-7 to the Moon.

It has now postponed the launch.

The China Manned Space Agency said the mission was not ready to meet the launch conditions.

Officials did not explain the exact problem.

The launch was supposed to happen in the coming days.

Chang’e-7 was designed to search for water ice.

It was also meant to study dark craters and resources near the Moon’s south pole.

The spacecraft had been prepared at a launch site on Hainan island.
