Bent Tree Threatens Commuters on Hyderabad’s CRIDA Road
A tree near a road in Old Santosh Nagar is leaning into the traffic path.
This makes it harder and less safe for people and vehicles to pass.
An auto-rickshaw has already hit the tree.
Garbage trucks also touch its branches while driving by.
When that happens, garbage can fall onto the road.
Residents worry that someone could be seriously hurt, especially during busy hours.
They want officials to remove or transplant the tree soon.
They also want a healthy tree planted somewhere that does not block the road.
A tree behind Anna Dairy in Old Santosh Nagar is bent toward the CRIDA Road carriageway.
The tree obstructs pedestrians, motorists and small vehicles using the road.
An auto-rickshaw recently hit the tree, according to residents.
