Man Rescued After Jumping into Bhiwandi Creek
A 43-year-old man named Avinash Utekar jumped into Kasheli Creek in Bhiwandi early Monday morning.
The local fire department and the Regional Disaster Management Cell (RDMC) were notified and responded.
Utekar was rescued with help from the fire brigade and local residents.
He was immediately taken to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital in Kalwa and suffered serious facial and nasal injuries.
The police have informed his family and are investigating the reason behind the incident.
