Kamran Akmal suggests Rizwan leave BBL after retirement out
Mohammad Rizwan, a cricket player from Pakistan, was playing in the Big Bash League (BBL) for the Melbourne Renegades.
During a match against the Sydney Thunder, he was asked to retire out because he wasn't scoring runs quickly enough.
This decision became very popular on the internet, with some people making fun of Rizwan.
Kamran Akmal, a former Pakistani cricket player, said on a sports show that Rizwan should consider leaving the BBL because of this incident.
Akmal also remembered a time when another Pakistani player, Younis Khan, asked to be released from his team in the Indian Premier League (IPL) because he wasn't playing enough.
Rizwan scored 26 runs off 23 balls before being asked to retire, and his replacement, Will Sutherland, didn't perform well either, being dismissed for just 1 run.
Mohammad Rizwan was asked to retire out during a BBL match against Sydney Thunder due to a low strike rate.
Kamran Akmal suggested Rizwan should leave the BBL after the incident, citing humiliation and mockery.
Akmal recalled Younis Khan's decision to leave the IPL when he was not playing, drawing a parallel to Rizwan's situation.
Rizwan scored 26 off 23 balls before being asked to retire, with Melbourne Renegades at 154/4 in the 18th over.
Will Sutherland, who replaced Rizwan, was dismissed for 1 run, not helping the team's cause.
