Andhra Pradesh Health Services Show Improvement in Attendance and Services

The Health Minister shared that things are getting better!
More doctors and nurses showed up for work between April and September, with some hospitals like King George Hospital in Visakhapatnam doing a great job.
Even medical colleges had almost perfect attendance.
More people are visiting the hospitals for check-ups, and they don't have to wait as long to see a doctor.
The number of tests done also went up.
While there's been a lot of progress, the minister mentioned that more work is needed to make the healthcare system even better for everyone in the state.
Andhra Pradesh Health Minister Y Satya Kumar Yadav reported improvements in the state's public healthcare system.
King George Hospital in Visakhapatnam recorded the highest staff attendance (93.13%) among government general hospitals.
SV Medical College in Tirupati achieved 100% staff attendance, leading government medical colleges.
Outpatient services saw a 20% increase, with over 4 crore consultations and a reduction in average waiting time from 42 to 26 minutes.
The minister acknowledged ongoing efforts are needed for complete transformation and directed officials to further improve attendance and service delivery.
