Crystal Palace Demoted to Conference League After Appeal Loss

Crystal Palace, a soccer team, won a trophy and earned a spot in a big European tournament.

However, because the same person owned part of Palace and another team, they broke the rules.

An appeal to let them play in the Europa League was denied, so instead, they will play in a smaller tournament called the Conference League.

Basically, because of ownership rules, they couldn't play in the bigger tournament.
