Spotify Launches Lossless Audio in India with Higher Priced Platinum Plan
Spotify has changed its music plans in India.
Now, to get the best sound quality, called 'lossless audio,' you have to pick their most expensive plan, called Platinum.
This plan costs more money each month.
Other plans, like Lite and Standard, offer good sound but not the super-clear lossless sound.
This is different from some other music apps, like Apple Music, which offer good sound without charging extra.
So, while you can get amazing sound on Spotify now, it costs more than before and more than some other music apps.
Spotify has launched lossless audio in India, but only in its new, most expensive Platinum plan.
The new plans include Lite (Rs 139), Standard (Rs 199), and Platinum (Rs 299) per month.
Lossless audio is a premium feature offered exclusively with the Platinum plan, unlike Apple Music.
The price increase for Spotify in India is noted as significant, making it more expensive than Apple Music and YouTube Premium.
The Platinum plan includes additional features like up to 3 accounts, offline playback, AI DJ, and AI playlist creation.
