Railways Plans 164 km New Line in Kashmir
Indian Railways has finished a big project called USBRL that connected some parts of Kashmir to trains.
Now, they want to connect more parts of Kashmir with a new 164 km train line.
They have made a detailed plan for this new line.
There's also a very tall and long bridge called the Chenab Bridge that was built as part of the previous project.
The new plan needs approval from different groups before it can start.
Indian Railways has completed the USBRL project in Jammu and Kashmir.
A Detailed Project Report (DPR) has been prepared for a new 164 km railway line in the Kashmir Valley.
The new line aims to extend rail connectivity in the region.
The Chenab Bridge, part of the USBRL project, is 1315 meters long with a 467-meter arch span and 359 meters height above the river bed.
