Himachal Faces Financial Crunch for Projects
The Himachal Pradesh government is having trouble finishing sewerage projects because they don't have enough money.
They have projects worth Rs 742 crore, but they can't give all the money at once.
The Deputy Chief Minister asked lawmakers to include these projects in their priority schemes.
The Chief Minister said they would help with a project in Una if the central government gives money too.
They also talked about a project with PGI Chandigarh, where 20% is done, and they need more money to finish it.
Additionally, there is a big argument about the Himcare health scheme.
The government says it was misused and has started an audit, while the opposition says the government is not running it properly.
The government is also spending money to improve health services and has decided to use the money meant for another health scheme, Ayushman Bharat, for Himcare instead.
Himachal Pradesh has sewerage projects worth Rs 742 crore under execution but faces financial constraints.
Deputy CM Mukesh Agnihotri urged MLAs to include ongoing sewerage projects under their priority schemes.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu promised funds for the PGI Satellite Centre in Una if the Centre provides financial support.
20% of the PGI Chandigarh project is completed, with an additional Rs 4.55 crore needed for the sewerage component.
